About a 30-minute boat ride from Manama lies one of Bahrain’s natural wonders: Jaradah Island. This islet boasts some truly striking features. Known for its small size, this strip of sand is called the “vanishing island” because during the day it emerges from the waters, and in the evening the sea reclaims the island, returning it to its domain and completely submerging it.
